WBL Teachers: ⚠️ Do Not Grade "Own The Work" assignments

The Own the Work Assignments (black assignment cards) are the assignments the 220 Team evaluates as the employer so it qualifies as Work-Based Learning.

In order for simulated Work-Based Learning to count, the state of Indiana has several requirements including sustained interactions from employers.

In addition to the optional live opportunities your students have access to (Office Hours, Founder Roundtables, Industry Spotlights), this interaction comes from our review of their final work in each rotation. This final work is marked by black assignment cards and the words "Own The Work" to differentiate from the purple lesson cards you can grade.

This includes the WBL Agreement submission.

220 Youth Leadership (co-teacher account)
Our team evaluates their final submission in each rotation:

  • Own the Work: 220 evaluates this submission as the employer

While your account technically has access to this, we ask that you please not grade this assignment.

There is not currently a way for us to tell which assignments were graded, so assignments may be missed.

Teachers 
Can optionally grade Lessons 1-4 in each assignment using the Local Checkpoint Rubric:

  • Read the Work: Teachers can optionally grade the last question in the lesson
  • Use the Tools: Teachers can optionally grade the last question in the lesson
  • Check & Revise: Teachers can optionally grade the last question in the lesson
  • Communicate Professionally: Teachers can optionally grade the last question in the lesson
