# Is 220 meant to replace in-person experiences?

## No. It is designed to expand access and provide options that work for more students.

In-person learning and internships can be powerful, and many schools continue to offer those opportunities. 220 is designed to help schools expand access so more students can participate in meaningful real-world learning.

Schools often use 220 to support students who face barriers such as transportation challenges, limited local placement availability, scheduling conflicts, or readiness needs. The goal is to provide a high-quality option that helps more students gain skills and experience.
