How Students Open and Complete a Lesson or Assessment

Before students begin

Students should know:

1. How to log in.
2. Which class to open.
3. Which course to open.
4. Which lesson, module, assignment, or assessment to complete.

Steps for students

1. Log in using the method provided by your teacher or school.
2. Open the correct class.
3. Open the correct course.
4. Find the lesson, module, assignment, or assessment your teacher wants you to complete.
5. Select Start.
6. Use Next to move through the activity.
7. Read each direction carefully.
8. Answer each question.
9. Select Submit Answer when the platform asks you to submit an answer.
10. Use Go To or Review if you need to return to a previous question.
11. When you are finished, go to the review or end screen.
12. Select Submit to turn in your work.

Answering questions

For multiple choice questions:

1. Read the full question.
2. Select your answer.
3. Select Submit Answer if required.

For written response questions:

1. Click into the response box.
2. Type your answer.
3. Review your answer.
4. Select Submit Answer if required.

For videos:

1. Press Play.
2. Watch the video.
3. Answer any questions that appear during or after the video.

If something does not load

Try these steps:

1. Refresh the page.
2. Confirm you are in the correct class.
3. Confirm you are in the correct course.
4. Ask your teacher if the activity is available.
5. Ask your teacher for help if the issue continues.

Before submitting

Check that:

1. You answered the required questions.
2. You reviewed your work.
3. You are ready to turn it in.
